Auto Enrolment Planner For Employers
The government has introduced legislation making it compulsory for employers to enrol eligible workers into a qualifying workplace pension scheme and make contributions to that scheme. This is known as auto enrolment.
Employers can choose which scheme to use, provided it meets certain criteria. It could be their own scheme, another arrangement or they may choose to enrol their staff into NEST (the National Employment Savings Trust). Employers who do not have a pension scheme in place will need to select one.
